Import Duties, Taxes, and Custom Fees

Orders shipped outside of Japan may be subject to import duties, VAT, local taxes, and custom clearance fees levied by the destination country. These charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

 

These fees are collected directly by the carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx) upon delivery. Mother Japan has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please check with your local customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.
